PAKISTAN: MAN AWARDED DEATH SENTENCE

Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Abdul Haq awarded death sentence to a man and life imprisonment to a woman for the murder of woman’s husband. Sadiqabad Police Station registered a case against Aqeela and Mehran Khan for killing Akhtar Ali Jaffery on January 10, 2005. Aqeela developed illicit relations with Khan and they both killed Jaffery. The court also imposed a fine of Rs100,000 each.
