PAKISTAN: MAN AWARDED DEATH SENTENCE FOR MURDER

Additional District and Sessions Judge Rao Abdul Jabbar Khan awarded the death sentence to Usmani Meo, a hit-man who was already awarded death in two previous murder cases. They said the hearing of the current case was conducted within the jail premises for security reasons. In the latest incident, Meo and two accomplices murdered a rival Asif Ali in the neighbouring village of Haveli Jamaldinwali. The two other accused are still at large.
