PAKISTAN: MAN GETS DEATH PENALTY FOR DRUG SMUGGLING

in Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Iqbal Malik awarded the death sentence and Rs 0.5 million fine to Awal Khan for possessing 42kg of hashish. Khan was arrested by Banni police. In case of failure to pay the fine, Khan will have to undergo six months imprisonment. The convict was later shifted to Adiala Jail.
