Iqbal Bali, a man whose execution had been postponed on July 6, was hanged in Sahiwal Central jail, Pakistan. He had been convicted of killing landlord Mahmood Ahmed in 1990. None of his family members turned up to collect the body. It was reported that an accomplice had kidnapped the son of the killed landlord in order to get the execution postponed.
