PAKISTAN: POLICEMAN SENTENCED TO DEATH

a policeman was sentenced to death for killing his friend by District and Session Judge in Quetta, Pakistan. According to details, Police official Mahmood Khan shot dead Atiqur Rehman in December 2005 using an official kalashinkov, over a minor dispute at Sariab road. His case was tried by District and Session Judge Nazir Ahmad Lango. The judge awarded him capital punishment and a fine of Rupees 0.2 million.
