an Anti terrorism court in Karachi, Pakistan, sentenced to death three activists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi organisation after finding them guilty of killing nine people in Karachi.
Abdul Wahab Afghani, Shahnawaz alias Shani and Mohammad Shaukat were convicted of killing the nine and injuring eight others at Imambargah Al-Muntazir Al-Mehdi in the Al-Falah area of the city on February 22, 2003.
According to prosecution, the group fired on the worshippers with automatic weapons as they made their way to prayers.
