PAKISTAN: THREE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR DOUBLE MURDER

in Karachi, Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Court judge Sagheer Ahmed Shaikh, of the East Judicial Complex, sentenced Mohammad Ovais, Shabbir Ahmed and Mohammad Amjad to death for robbing and killing brothers Nadeem and Naeem in Kalri police limits in October 2005. They were ordered to pay Rs50,000 compensation each to the legal heirs of the deceased, and awarded five years imprisonment and fined Rs10,000 each.
