Additional District and Sessions Judge Sardar Tahir Sabir sentenced Ubaid Masih and Shakir Ali to death for stabbing Shahzad to death while trying to rob his house in North Cantt on September 9, 2005. The court also sentenced both to life imprisonment, fined them Rs200,000 each, and ordered them to pay Rs 100,000 each to the heirs of victim.
