PAKISTAN: TWO AWARDED DEATH SENTENCE

In two different murder cases in Pakistan, Syed Muzafar Ali Shah Additional Sessions Judge awarded death sentence to two accused and life imprisonment to three on their guilt being proved beyond any doubt.
Four accused were acquitted honorably as their alleged involvement in the crime was not proved in the light of prosecution evidence on record. In first case Ahmed Khan son of Allah Ditta Sahi was awarded death sentence while Iftikhar Ahmed son of Yar Muhammad Sahi Lambardar was handed over 25 years imprisonment. Two accused were set free. According to prosecution the convicts had murdered Mazhar Iqbal Sahi and injured Ghulam Abbas.
In second case Haji Mukhtar son of Yar Muhammad Sahi Lambardar was given death sentence while his accomplice Parvaiz Ahmed son of Sai Muhammad Sahi was awarded 25 year rigorous imprisonment.
