In Pakistan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muneer Ahmad awarded the death sentence to two murder convicts.
The court gave Ali Hassan and Muhammad Asif death sentence on the charges of murdering Muhammad Shafique while gave the benefit of the doubt to Bashir Ahmed and released him. The court directed the convicts to pay Rs300,000 as compensation to the heirs to the victim.
