Two men were sentenced to death in Pakistan, in two separate cases. In the first case, District and Sessions Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan awarded death sentence on four counts to a murder convict.
Tahir Mehboob of Rangpura had killed four members of his family — his second wife Nadia, sister-in-law Fatima and two young sons Ali Haider and Mohsin — in 2010.
In Daska, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ramzan awarded death sentence to Zaigham Abbas for killing a youth, Ali Afzal, for demanding Rs400,000 back.
