Two death row prisoners were hanged on early morning in the jails of Sahiwal and Jehlum, Dunya News reported. The dead bodies of the prisoners were handed over to their heirs.
According to details, death row prisoner Anwar Khan was executed on the double murder charged in the Central Jail, Sahiwal. Anwar Khan had killed two people in 1993 over a land dispute.
Another death row convict, Hakim, was hanged in the District Jail, Jehlum. Hakim was executed for killing his wife in 2004 over a family dispute.
