Payman Qaneh Kohan Shahri was executed in Salmas City, Iran, while the streets leading to the gallows were closed and his family clashed with the agents and were beaten, reported Salmas Human Rights Club. Kohneh Shahri was accused of being an accomplice in the murder of another Azari citizen in 2009. One of his relatives said that Shahri had to confess to the act under torture, as a result of which his arm and leg broke.
