PHILIPPINES: DFA LISTS 85 DEATH ROW CASES ABROAD

DFA Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs Esteban Conejos Jr said that of the 85 death penalty cases involving Philippine overseas workers, 15 are murder-related and 60 are drug related.

DFA Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs Esteban Conejos Jr said that of the 85 death penalty cases involving Philippine overseas workers, 15 are murder-related and 60 are drug related. Conejos said that the drug-related cases are “mostly in China” while about 10 are detained in Malaysia.
