Police said that three Pakistanis convicted of drug trafficking have been executed by firing squad at the main prison in al-Manouwama a suburb in the capital Muscat. The men Hatem Ali Nour, Abdul Rahman and Murad Baksh Nizrat were convicted of smuggling a large quantity of unspecified narcotics into the country. Two of them were also found in possession of assault rifles.
