The conflict between a Qatari family and a Kuwaiti family with blood ties started in 2007, when a Kuwaiti national was on a business tour here. During his tour, he visited his Qatari relatives.
To his misfortune, he was called names by one of his relatives. He later returned to Kuwait and a fight broke out between the two families, during which one was killed and several people from both sides were injured. Police arrested the people involved in the fight.
The prosecution charged them with manslaughter and assault.
