Robert Conklin, 44, white, was given a lethal injection at the state prison in Jackson for the March 26, 1984, murder of his former boyfriend, George Crooks, 28, white. Conklin was pronounced dead at 7:44 p.m.
Conklin becomes the 3rd condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Georgia and the
29th in the USA.
