Robina Ansari, appealed a ruling of the Lahore High Court dismissing her request for damages to her and her sister Shama Bibi after they both miscarried during an investigation for murder.
Ansari was condemned to death in April 1999 for the murder of Hajjan Aziz Begum. She was due to hang in August, but her execution was stayed by the Supreme Court. She has now lost all her appeals against her conviction and is awaiting execution in jail. Her death warrant may be issued any day.
