S KOREA: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

a provincial court in South Korea sentenced a convicted kidnapper and murderer of two girls and a woman to death. Suwon District Court imposed the death sentence on Jung Sung-hyun, 39, after he was found guilty of kidnapping and killing Lee Hye-jin, 11, and Woo Yae-seul, 8, in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province in December 2007, and a 44 year old woman in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, in July 2004. The two girls went missing on December 25, 2007, and were found dead with their bodies dismembered about two months later.
