Hayel al-Sayed Mohammedain, an Egyptian man convicted of murder was beheaded. He was found guilty of murdering Abdeen Mahmoud Mohammed, another Egyptian, by hitting him on the head with an ax, and of stealing his wallet.Mohammedain was executed in the eastern city of Dammam.
Meanwhile, also on Wednesday, in two separate cases, an Afghan and a Syrian-Egyptian each had his right hand amputated after being found guilty of pick-pocketing in Islam´s holiest shrine in Mecca.Mohammed Nabi Rostum, an Afghan, and Ahmed Akash Abdul Kader, from Syria, stole from worshippers in the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
