Saudi Arabia beheaded a Saudi man for shooting a compatriot to death after a dispute

Saudi Arabia beheaded a Saudi man for shooting a compatriot to death after a dispute. Saad bin Mubarak al-Harithi was executed after being convicted for shooting Badr bin Mishal al-Harithi in the stomach with a handgun, the Interior Ministry said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency. Badr later died of his injuries, the statement said.
The execution in the town of Taif, in Mecca province.
Saudi Arabia implements strict Islamic sharia laws, executing murderers, rapists and drug smugglers, usually by public beheading.
