SAUDI ARABIA BEHEADS CITIZEN CONVICTED OF MACHINE GUN MURDER

Saudi Arabia executed Mohammed Bin Abdullah al-Shahrani, the state-run news agency said. He was convicted of murdering Nasser Bin Saad al-Qahtani with a machine gun over a dispute. The beheading was carried out in the Khamis Mshit district of the southwestern province of Asir. The statement also said that al-Shahrani had been on the run after the murder and was arrested by security forces. No other details were given.
