SAUDI ARABIA: CONVICTED MURDERER BEHEADED NEAR MAKAH

Authorities in Saudi Arabia’s western Makah province beheaded a man convicted of murder, the official news Spa news agency reported, citing an interior ministry statement.
The man was convicted of knifing to death another man during a fight.
This execution brings the number of people put to death in the kingdom to at least 57 in 2013.
