Saudi Arabia executed two Iraqis for smuggling hashish into the kingdom, the country’s interior ministry said. Mohammad bin Ali al-Salami and Faisal bin Karim al-Shiblawi were executed in the northern city of Arar, raising to at least 31 the number of people put to death this year in the Gulf state, where Islamic law is strictly enforced.
