The 3-year-old child was left in the desert to die, the Jeddah-based Okaz newspaper reported.
The sentence was imposed in the town of Hail and upheld by a higher court in the capital, Riyadh.
The defendant was arrested this year during a police investigation that was helped by a 7-year- old boy, the newspaper said.
