Saudi Arabia apparently stayed the execution of Lebanese former TV presenter Ali Sibat who was convicted of sorcery. Lebanese Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said his "mother should rest assured tonight," told AFP. "If I didn't have the necessary proof I wouldn't have said that to her."
