in Saudi Arabia, a General Court’s three-judge panel sentenced a 22-year-old man to death for the kidnap and rape of four children who he then abandoned in remote desert areas of Hail. One of his victims died from dehydration. Police arrested the man using information from a seven-year-old boy who escaped a failed kidnapping attempt.
The verdict will now go to the Court of Cassation for approval.
