SAUDI ARABIA: MURDER CONVICT EXECUTED

Saudi Arabia executed a man convicted of murder in the Kingdom's southwest. Abulrahman Al-Qarni shot dead fellow Saudi Mushabab Al-Khathami during a dispute. The man was beheaded in the town of Al-Baha.
The execution brings to six the number of death sentences carried out in the Kingdom so far in 2012, according to an AFP tally based on official reports.
