The Interior Ministry said in a statement Mashari bin Turki al-Oteibi was beheaded with a sword in Khobar in east Saudi Arabia after being convicted of killing Hayef bin Khaled al-Ajam by running over him several times before shooting him with a gun.
The execution brings to 70 those put to death in the Arab kingdom since the beginning of the year.
