A Saudi national was sentenced to death for attacking the general court at the Governorate of Al-Qatif four years ago.
The Criminal Court convicted the man of hurling two Molotov cocktail bombs at the court in 2012.
The resulting fire from the bomb blast had gutted part of the court building and had caused other damages and material losses.
The convict was also indicted of taking part in a rally, during which a protestor fired at the security forces in the line of duty, and escaping from hospital after being treated.
The court found him guilty of participating in rallies and acts of rioting and sabotage, chanting anti-Saudi slogans, setting fire to tyres in a bid to disrupt traffic, subvert public order and terrorising innocent people, reported local Arabic daily Al-Marsd.
The convict also forwarded on social messaging application WhatsUp and Zello pictures and videos of riots, sabotage in Al-Qatif and Bahrain, and defamed the rulers in Saudi Arabia.
The convict used WhatsUp and Zello to inform the rioters about security checkpoints and interfere in the internal affairs of Bahrain.
