SAUDI ARABIA: THREE MORE BEHEADINGS

Three inmates have been beheaded in Saudi Arabia in the last days.
On 14 January Saudi Arabia beheaded a convicted Pakistani drug trafficker and one of its own citizens who killed a soldier, the interior ministry said in a statement.
Rakan bin Eid bin Bikheet al-Baqmi, a Saudi, was found guilty of chasing and firing on a security patrol, killing soldier Sultan bin Ibrahim bin Ghrahid al-Jaid. Baqmi was executed in the Mecca region.
On the other side of the country, in Qatif, Mahmoud Massih Iqbal Massih from Pakistan was executed for heroin trafficking, the ministry said.
On 16 January 2015, Saudi Arabia beheaded one of its citizens for shooting dead a compatriot with a machine gun, bringing to 10 the number of executions since the start of the year, according to an AFP tally. Murdi al-Shakra had been sentenced to death for murdering fellow tribesman Faraj al-Shakra, the interior ministry said in a statement.
