SAUDI ARABIA: TWO EXECUTED FOR MURDER

two men have been executed in Saudi Arabia for murder, official sources reported.
On May 2, Bejad bin Salem bin Nkhaylan al-Shumari was beheaded by the sword and crucified for killing fellow citizen Mohammed bin Merdas bin Saeed al-Shumari and stealing money from him in the northern Saudi town of Hael, the interior ministry said in a statement carried by the state news agency SPA.
On May 1, Saudi Arabia beheaded Hassan bin Ali bin Hassan al-Abandi in the Eastern Province for killing his father, the interior ministry said in a statement. Hassan set his parents' house on fire "in an attempt to kill his mother following an argument between them," the statement said.
