SAUDI ARABIA: YEMENI NATIONAL EXECUTED FOR MURDER

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that a capital sentence against a murderer was carried out today in Asir region as a punishment for intentionally killing and stealing a Saudi woman after breaking into her house.
The statement said that Yasser Mahmoud Ahmed Ali Quaiza - a Yemeni national - had beaten Felwah Misfr bin Misfr Al Jarad - a Saudi citizen to death and has stolen money and jewelry from her house.
Security authorities managed to arrest the murderer who pleaded guilty; the General Court convicted him of his crime and the sentence was endorsed by the concerned authorities.
The murderer was executed in Khamis Mushait province of Asir region today after the sentence was endorsed by the Appeal and Supreme Courts and sealed by a royal order.
