Senior Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma Lyubov Sliska said she thought the moratorium on the death penalty would be abolished, but not soon. "The current tendency in the society shows that we are close to that already," she told journalists. Sliska expressed her position that Russia should revert back to the death penalty for terrorists and organisers of terrorist.
