Shawn Windsor has been sentenced to die. After months of requesting that he be put to death for killing his 27-year-old estranged wife, Betty Jean Windsor, and their son, Corey, on Dec. 28, 2003, Windsor was sentenced to die by Jefferson Circuit Court judge Martin McDonald.
Shawn Windsor pleaded guilty to 2 counts of murder, theft by unlawful taking and violation of a domestic violence order in July and asked for the death penalty.
