Shaykh Muhammad Elbur and Shaykh Abdi Farah Weheliye, judges of the Islamic court based at the Mogadishu livestock market, ordered the execution of Farah Warsame Halane for killing Abdi Muhammad Hade five days before. During the court proceedings the convict admitted killing the victim. The execution, which took place at the livestock market, was witnessed by very many people. This was the fifth execution the court has carried out since its setting up.
