Oju Wilson, Coordinator of Training, Research and Advocacy of the Lawyers Center for Legal Assistance (LAWCLA) revealed that LAWCLA would soon file a motion at the Supreme Court in order for the government to repeal capital punishment in the country's law books.
"The application of the death penalty is inhuman, cruel and degrading treatment," he said, adding that the death penalty in Sierra Leone was not applicable for murder but for treason.
