SOMALIA: AL-SHABAB EXECUTES MAN BY FIRING SQUAD FOR MARRYING DAUGHTERS OF HIS WIFE

A man who allegedly married the daughters of his wife before getting divorce was executed on 27 June 2019 by Al-shabab group in Somalia’s Lower Shabelleh Region.
The man, Abshir Mohamed Abdi, pleaded not guilty but the judge has insisted that witnesses who were brought before the Al-shabab court were enough evidence for conviction. The man was publicly executed by masked fighters from Al-shabaab using bullets, while hundreds of people gathered to watch the execution.
