SOMALIA: MILITARY COURT SENTENCED DEATH PENALTY TO A MAN ACCUSED KILLING OF A CLERIC

Military court has sentenced Mohamed Adan Borow, to death penalty  after he alleged the killing of a famous cleric in Baidoa mosque.
Mr Barow’s judgment of death came after evidence was presented in court, Courts officials said.
The Cleric killed days before was named Mader Aliyow, and he was in a mosque in Baidoa, praying Taraweeh prayer. The court also sentenced two people allegedly involved in the murder of the priest and the helping of Barow.
