The High Court sentenced a Maulid Mohamed Sudi, police officer to death for the killing of his fellow police officer the late Abdi Ismanel Ali on 30th September 2014 inside a police station in Arabisyo town.
Judge Hassan Aden Sugule, a High Court chief magistrate read the verdict in front of a packed court, the chief magistrate citing section 171 of article 170 of armed forces law and section 434 of article 195 of the military disciplinary code sentenced the former police officer to death.
The condemned officer was charged and sentenced to death by firing squad previously by armed forces court first class.
