The petition, signed by 115,861 people including new South Korean Cardinal Nicholas Cheong Jin-suk, was to be submitted to the National Assembly the following week, a panel at the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea (CBCK) said in a statement. "Human beings don't have the right to take away the precious lives of others that are given by God," the statement by the CJP said.
