SRI LANKA: 3 SUSPECTS SENTENCED TO DEATH BY GALLE HIGH COURT

The Galle High Court handed down the death sentences to three suspects found guilty of murder.
The verdict was delivered in connection with the case pertaining to the murder of an individual who was hacked to death with swords, in Rejjipura area in Thelikada on the 13th of January 2003. The victim was a 52 year old father of two.
Two brothers are among the suspects who were sentenced to death. Delivering the verdict of the case, Galle High Court Judge Manjula Thilakarathne stated that suspects have been proven guilty beyond any reasonable doubt.
