The Colombo High Court sentenced to death L. Chaminda Jagath, a father of two from Boralesgamuwa for possessing 147 grammes of heroin.

The Colombo High Court sentenced to death L. Chaminda Jagath, a father of two from Boralesgamuwa for possessing 147 grammes of heroin.
The arrest was made on July 10, 2013. The High Court Judge Gihan Kulatunga said that the kind of offence had disastrous effects on society and the youth and must be stopped.
The arrest was made by the Police Anti Narcotic Division.
