SRI LANKA: DOCTOR SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR WIFE, CHILD MURDER

a man was sentenced to death in absentia for murdering his wife and six month old infant by Kandy Provincial High Court Judge Wimal Nambuwasam in Sri Lanka. Dr Sankaja Pathirage was charged with the killing of his wife, Dr Chandani Daththasinghe, 30, and his son Chamuth Asinsa on September 17, 2005.
