SRI LANKA: THREE INDIVIDUALS SENTENCED TO DEATH BY COLOMBO HC

Three individuals were sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court for a murder committed 26 years ago, in Pannipitiya.
The victim was a neighbour of the three accused and it was proven beyond reasonable doubt that they had planned and committed the murder.
It was transpired in court that the victim had been stabbed to death by the three accused.
The murder had been committed due to a personal dispute over business between the two parties.
Another person involved in the murder was sentenced to seven and a half years.
