Three persons found guilty in Sri Lanka of committing murder 19 years ago in the Sethapola area in Mampuriya were sentenced to death by the Chilaw High Court.
John Sylvester Fernanado a.k.a. ‘Rasa’ from Kalpitiya, Anthonypillai Jayasheelan a.k.a. ‘Xavier’ from Madurankuliya and Sebastian Anthonypillai from Madurankuliya were sentenced over the murder of Warnakulasuriya Quintus Fernanado, who was found hacked to death in November 1995.
They were convicted and sentenced to death by Chilaw High Court Judge Amal Ranaraja.
