Two persons on 10 January 2019 were sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court after being found guilty of murdering six persons.

Two persons on 10 January 2019 were sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court after being found guilty of murdering six persons.
The sentence was issued by Colombo High Court judge Gihan Kulathunga.
The six persons were shot and killed on the 18th of September 1999 in Delkanda, Boralesgamuwa.
Two other suspects allegedly involved in the murders were acquitted.
