A youth who had been convicted for trading heroin and possession of 9 grams of heroin was sentenced to death on September 26 by the Colombo High Court.
Colombo High Court Judge Gihan Kulatunga issued the order when the case was taken up today (26), said Ada Derana reporter.
The convicted youth, aged 23 years, had been arrested by the Police Special Task Force in 2012 in Grand Pass area.
It was reported that the Colombo HC Judge convicted the youth for the indictments of trade and possession of heroin and sentenced to death for these two charges separately.
