SUDAN: FOUR MEN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER & ROBBERY
the Khartoum North Criminal Court in Sudan, presided over by Judge Mudathir al-Rashid, sentenced four men to death by hanging after they were convicted of killing a policeman in an exchange of fire at a Central Reserve Force camp in Al-Fula.

the Khartoum North Criminal Court in Sudan, presided over by Judge Mudathir al-Rashid, sentenced four men to death by hanging after they were convicted of killing a policeman in an exchange of fire at a Central Reserve Force camp in Al-Fula. They were further convicted of hijacking a car belonging to Al-Nilayn Bank's Babanusa branch in southern Kurdufan that was carrying the sum of 2m Sudanese pounds in the old currency and another vehicle belonging to the Shaykan Insurance Company. The court acquitted the fifth suspect due to lack of evidence and found the other four suspects guilty of vandalism, premeditated murder, robbery, inciting war against the state and violent opposition to authority.
