Taiwan's High Court acquitted three men who had been sentenced to death for the murder of a couple 20 years ago. The trio, who claimed they were tortured into making confessions, were first sentenced to death in 1992. In 2007, a court sentenced the trio to death, reversing an earlier verdict that freed them.
